backing up files

This is my first time using this software. I am doing my first backup and I want to know how to just select my files on my desk top .doc, .xls, etc.. without it choosing all my programs that are on my desktop. Where do I put that information?

Also, after I have done my first back up and next week I want to do another one just choosing my new files - how do I do this?

Hi thanks for trying ViceVersa.
In the file filter section you can specify the file extensions you want to copy.
