Is VV able to synchronize folders in desktop and notebook computers which are directly connected by a USB-2 Bridge cable (not ordinary USB cable)?
If yes, what are the basic procedures/steps to make this work?
Thank you for your help in advance. |

Thank you so much for your suggestion. I asked for your advice because I wanted to try VV Pro before buying it.
After reading your suggestion, I bought a USB bridged cable. After plugging it to my two computers with Windows Vista Business, the Windows Easy Transfer driver was installed in them. I can transferred files from one computer to another, but could not see files of both computers in the screen of any one of them.
However, when I opened ViceVersa Pro (evaluation copy) in either computer, I could not access the other USB-connected computer. I tried to read the website you referred to me, but it did not help at all.
Instead of referring to other webpage, can you kindly give me SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS (step by step) on how to form network between 2 computers connected by USB bridged cable?
Your help is much appreciated in advance because I really want to synchronize my two computers with VV Pro as soon as possible. |

Hi, I am no real expert in USB-2-USB PC connection... but I think this article will help you: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/248/1
In particular you need to make sure the cable is working in "network" mode and then follow the instruction to setup a small network between the 2 PCs. Unfortunately the article is not specifically written for Vista, but it should help anyway. _________________ --
