Is there any way to match multiple targets to a single source?
My source (a network storage device) has approximate 110,000 files. I need to replicate any changes to five network targets. It appears that I'm locked into a single target per source so I have to list five source/target pairs where the source is the same on each one. Unfortunately, it reads the source every time -- five times instead of one. That is a lot of wasted time. Add that with the reading of the five targets and it ends up taking about 20 minutes just to read and compare.

Hello
That is the only way right now, VV needs to rescan the source multiple times. In a future release we are thinking of improving this and make VV only scan once the source if it is the same folder as the folder in a previous source/target pair.

I think this would be a really nice enhancement. Next release maybe? Do you have a timeline for the next VV release? |

Hi, we have decided not to implement this so far because the file systems nowadays do cache the contents of folders, so the second rescan of the same folder is very fast. thanks _________________ --
