|
|
Have a Dell Tower Windows XP pro, 4 kids and wife with separate log on
Kids limited users, wife admin, me admin rights
Have a Buffalo terrastation with shares set up foreach kid and wife mapped using their log on id
Want to sync each kids "my Docs" folder where I have moved this to a separate partition on the Dell and put in their outlook PST
Do i need to set up VV launch under each kids log on id to run every x mins etc
Or can I by setting up their profiles and having all of their files mapped under my logon run it under me - but if I do that presumably it will only run when I am logged on - not very often as I have a laptop
So if I set it up under each kids logon (i.e logon as kid) can I set it up to run every x mins and then hide the launcher from the toolbar
Long winded but someone must have done this before so any smart ideas appreciated
My laptop works fine but I had to have the ignore 2 second checked |

Hello
It is best to use VVEngine. Setup VVEngine for each account separetely.
VVengine will run for each account at logon.

That is normal, I think the Buffalo uses the Linux file system. _________________ --
