Hi
I was working with VVEngine for a couple of weeks.
Today after restarting the PC I get this message
when clicking on VVEngineHome:

Failed starting VVEngine, see VVEngine.Log

I don't find this log file. Where should it be.
I remove VVEngine and installed it again.
No change.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

The file VVEngine.log is under

C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\VVEngine\

If you post the log here we can work out what the problem is.

thanks

Hi, better renaming the file, just in case you need to restore it. Could you post the XML file content? thanks

Hi
I can't post, it's empty.
There are only Bytes with ASCII 0 in it.

Best regards

Thanks, you can just delete the XML file then, it looks like it was not saved properly.

Now it's running again.
Is this file for the licence ?
Because after deleting the vvengine.xml it was running again
but I had to reenter my licence information.

Thanks for your help.

Hi, the license is stored in the registry, the XML files only contains the profile list and the schedule settings.
