Hello

I noticed that vvlauncher icon on the taskbar indicates/animates activity when ViceVersa Pro is backing up or if there's an error. Thats good for me. Now I know that is working/backing up or if there's a problem I can address it instantly.

VVengine doesn't have any indications/animations on the icon. The way to find out is to open vvengine home.

Is there a way to activate this feature in vvengine?

Hi, this is something we will be adding in the next VVEngine release, but for now you could use RSS notifications ( see http://www.tgrmn.com/web/kb/item71.htm ) and/or an e-mail notification in case of error ( see http://www.tgrmn.com/web/kb/item67.htm )
