hi

i wish to back up from our main sever to one of our remote offices.
is it best to install VV on the remote server or one on the main ones.
not sure at which point the file is compressed.

is it compressed at source then sent to target or
sent to target then compressed - or is it just compressed where vv is installed

thanks

Hi,

Files are compressed where vv is installed. The best option is to install vv at the source and compress the target folder. In this way source files are compressed locally and then pushed to the target folder.
