I am trying to synchronize the a folder across the network between 2
storage servers that are both in one domain. The folder is 520Gb it
has 1,020,149 files and 18,042.
No matter what parameters I put in the performance setup at the end of
comparison VV takes up about 600Mb of memory. The server it is on has
only 1Gb(it's a file server so it doesn't need too much of it). Is
there a way to reduce the memory consumption? Server has Win2003
Enterprise Ed.
Thanks,
Sergey Sudakovich. |

Hi Sergey
The memory is used to compare source and target files and the amount of files you are comparing is needing the 600MB
A solution could be to split the job into multiple profiles, e.g. you could setup 4 profiles to run in sequence, each profile would then only use approx 150MB _________________ --
