I am trying to synchronize the a folder across the network between 2
storage servers that are both in one domain. The folder is 520Gb it
has 1,020,149 files and 18,042.
No matter what parameters I put in the performance setup at the end of
comparison VV takes up about 600Mb of memory. The server it is on has
only 1Gb(it's a file server so it doesn't need too much of it). Is
there a way to reduce the memory consumption? Server has Win2003
Enterprise Ed.
Thanks,
Sergey Sudakovich.

Hi Sergey

The memory is used to compare source and target files and the amount of files you are comparing is needing the 600MB

A solution could be to split the job into multiple profiles, e.g. you could setup 4 profiles to run in sequence, each profile would then only use approx 150MB
