still am a new user:
1) how to create a new profile? There is no "New" under File menu.
the only option seems to be to save the profile we created at program initiation under a different name ---but all the profile settings are retained and must be manually edited.
2) can we load multiple profiles (i.e., with different filter settings) into the same session, and run each?
3) there seems to be only one database for all profiles. everytime we load a different profile from the last, it says the database has changed and there is no information about the source, and says the database must be reset !?
We have several backup and synch situations that involve different sets of folders, and different filter requirements for each. How do we handle this in vv without jumping through all these hoops?
Some competing products allow multple jobs to be loaded, each with its own database and "profile" settings. Each, or all, can be run within the same session. |

Hi,

In Viceversa PRO 2, you should see "new profile" under the "file" menu. It is the first entry

You need VVengine for that. See http://www.tgrmn.com/web/vvengine/vvengine.htm

You need to create a new profile (see point 1) and use a different name for each database. Viceversa will create a new name each time for you.

VVengine is the best solution for that.
