will VV PLUS synch files between my laptop (which is running MS Vista Home edition) and my desktop (which is running MS XP Pro). Have any problems been detected using this configuration?

It will work, but please note that ViceVersa PLUS has not been made Vista compatible yet, so it will run on Vista under the compatibility mode. Instead ViceVersa PRO is already fully compatible with Windows Vista.
