I have two laptops. One running XP home and one running Vista home premium. My file server runs XP pro. Will viceversa allow me to make changes on both laptops and have those changes sync with the file server and then replicate changes back to both laptops.
Example:
I change two files on laptop A and three files on Laptop B. The laptops do not have a direct connection to each other. Each laptop only connects to the file server. I would like for the changes on laptop A to show up on Laptop B and changes from Laptop B to show up on Laptop A.
We work with thousands of jpg images. I may be editing 500 images on my laptop while my wife edits 500 on her laptop. Once edited, the images are saved using their original file name. I need to keep both laptops in sync but use the file server as my backup of the data. The file server is then backed up each night to a second file server.
Thanks for the help.
Maybe this is not too confusing.

Hi Jason, absolutely, both laptops can sync vs. the file server and eventually the two laptops and the file server will have the same set of files. You can install one copy of ViceVersa on each laptop. You could also enable archiving for the file server folder, see http://www.tgrmn.com/web/kb/item22.htm _________________ --
