Do you have an estimate of how long it will take to compare 1M of files over a VPN?
I see you have plans to support "hot-syncing" by monitoring the folders instead of doing an on demand compare. I think that this feature will add a lot of value to your product.

No, it really depends on the speed of the network, but I suspect this amount of files won't allow "real-time" synchronization.

Yes, right now VVEngine and VVLauncher can monitor source for changes and then run ViceVersa if changes are detected, but VV still needs to rescan source and target. This will be improved in a way that the rescanning will not be needed. _________________ --
