I'm new to ViceVersa but it seems not to support data compression before transmitting over slow WAN links. |

I agree. It would be great if ViceVersa could do this:
1) Detect files that need to be replicated.
2) Move them to a temp folder.
3) Compress them.
4) Transfer to target.
5) Uncompress. |

True, but this would mean that VV would need an agent on the other side to do the (de)compression. Right now it doesn't have the ability to execute remote commands, at least I don't think so... |
