I've downloaded and am now playing with VVPro, and I believe it will be able to do what we need - pending the success of VVLauncher. I do have a question about the capability of VVLauncher: we work in a production environment, with a file server, can I run VVLauncher on the file server, and will it detect when a file has changed even if the file was actually changed on a different machine that saved the file to the file server? I don't want to have to install VVLauncher on everyone's client machine... |

If the file server is a Windows 2003 Server and the workstations are XP or 2000, VVLauncher will be able to check for changes in remote folders. But it is preferred to install VVLauncher on each remote machine to split the monitoring job across each machines. _________________ --
