Disk / Drive Mirroring

ViceVersa PRO can mirror an entire disk / drive and make an exact replica to a second location, a.k.a. "Source to Target Mirroring". The first time it runs, ViceVersa PRO copies all the files from the source to the target, if not already there. After the first time, on successive runs, ViceVersa PRO only copies new and changed files from the source to the target (and optionally files that were deleted from the source are also deleted from the target). In this way you have an exact mirror of the source drive to the target, file by file and folder by folder.

Mirroring and Backup Software

Using ViceVersa PRO you can easily make a mirror copy of all your data for backup purposes. Simply select the source folder(s) you'd like to copy, and the target folder(s) where you'd like to copy the files to. For example, a second hard-disk, an external USB drive, or a NAS device. ViceVersa PRO will copy all the files from source to target. You can schedule the copy operation to run unattended, or as soon as file changes are detected, at start-up and/or shut-down. Or you can launch the copy manually and monitor it step-by-step. There is also the option to compress and encrypt the mirrored data to save space and security.

Mirroring over the Network

You can use ViceVersa PRO to easily mirror files to and from the network. You control the bandwidth used to avoid overloading the network during the file mirroring operation. You can auto-copy files to the network using the included scheduler.

USB Drive Mirroring

Mirror files to and from USB drives quickly. Verify correct operation and integrity of all files using the ViceVersa CRC verification. You can also encrypt the files before they are copied to the USB drive.
